No Ho Ho Ho

They waste as much saliva speaking with talents as the number of nails I missed in a day's work

And there goes my break...

The thing about production is: everything is like water.

Water changes form depending on how it is contained, so as production. Every aspect has its variables a, b, c dependency. What has been planned one day earlier might not be the plan one day later because of these changes among the dependencies. So at the end, everyone maybe except some artists or directors, took the wrath. We are all the particles in the liquid, being shaken here and there.

On the other hand, I'd like to stress the importance of 2 groups of people in a production. The people that arranges the rundown, and those that built the sets and props. They are the unsung heroes of the industry. Its not easy being in the shoes of these very talented individuals. Talented, because they have this ability and perseverance to breathe in the 'thin air' of a busy day. Many people take credit for their hard work; producers, directors, talents, cameraman, you name it. But not many knew what happens before and after those people wrap up the day's shoot. People like casting managers and set coordinators, they never wrap up. Work is constant like a never ending karma. The moment one thing is done, the next thing starts.

Thats why a casting manager has his/her own single slide ending credit somewhere after the director. How I wish that the set builders had their own single credit line too, maybe above the director.
