Not that NYP Tammy. That's outdated. I'm talking about the lens. My Tammy 17-50 arrived yesterday morning and I was able to take some shots in the afternoon. I'm gonna post some pictures up later, but I'll just write something short now before I go out soon.
On first impression the Tamron 17-50 feels nice. Its bigger than the kit lens and the 55-200 (at least not longer). It has a somewhat huge 67mm filter thread. All in all, it felt professional. Autofocus was perfect. The lens' motor whines like a robotic arm, but that was just the surface of it. The autofocus was adeuately fast and mostly accurate. On the image quality, the 17-50 is one hell of a sharp lens. This added with the 2.8 max apperture at all focal lengths plus damn nice price tag means that Tamron 17-50 is a worth buy.
I'll add the pictures on the next post when my steamyx doesn't feel shitty. But for now, the 17-50 is impressive!
